Welcome to Beyond Comfort Zone! In this episode we share the prons and cons of social media, its addiction and a few ideas to avoid screen time. Too much of something is posionous. The instant gratification and the temporary distraction that scrolling offers can be an easy escape route when faced with stress, boredom, or discomfort instead of actually facing what is happening. Anything that distracts you from your goals is not worth it.
Another tip we mentioned was Solitude, it makes you feel better because it gives you the space to just exist without the normal expectations that come with work, family or friends. However, ensure you do it in a way that you dont isolate yourself completely from people who love and appreciate you. Our aim is to also build a community of awesome humans!
