Series: The Way of the Cross
Scripture: Luke 4:1-2, 9-13
Jesus said, "I am the way..." and "If anyone would come after me they must deny themselves, take up their cross and follow me." During the season of Lent we will be exploring the reality that if Jesus is the Way and he has called us to take up our crosses and follow him, then for us the Way of Jesus is not the way of glorious triumph or conquest. Rather it is the way of humility and service: it is the Way of the Cross.
