Series: From Tablet to Table
Bible Reading: Luke 10:38-42
Jesus did nearly half of his ministry around the dinner table or at other meals. After is his resurrection he joined two of his disciples walking from Jerusalem to Emmaus, but it was not until that sat down at the dinner table to eat with him that they recognized Jesus for who he really was. Throughout the gospels a wide variety of people were welcomed and healed around the dinner table. Stories and testimonies of truth were shared around the dinner table. Lives were transformed around the dinner table. My question, then, is are we undervaluing the dinner table?
