In this transmission I continue my conversation from the last episode about navigating sobriety (check it out if you haven't listened yet!).
I talk about striving to become the best version of myself, re-programming limiting beliefs (ie: I need coffee to function or I need alcohol to sleep at night), using substances as a crutch to get me through uncomfortable situations I don't want to confront, and where to draw the line without going off the deep end.
I recently got a recommendation from friend-of-the-show Debbie to check out a podcast discussing a new concept for me; GHK (Germanic Healing Knowledge). I break down what this is and explore the idea that all disease/illness is rooted in fear, is a product of our own mental beliefs, and how past mental/emotional traumas influence our health. Super interesting. I talk about my own experience with reversing my gut and food digestion issues and ultimately healing them by learning to address these traumas.
I also talk about Instagram aggressively suggesting I connect with old girlfriends from my past.
