Acomi and Turk182 turn off the lights and and play rain sounds in the background to set the mood for their viewing on Daredevil (2003), starring Ben Affleck. Directed by Mark Steven Johnson, the movie tells the story of blind lawyer turned late night vigilante, Matt Murdock. On a mission to rid the city of crime by brining down the one man who controls it all; the Kingpin.
Considered by many to be one of the worst superhero movies ever created, Daredevil (2003) hit the screens at a time when superhero movies like Blade, the first Singer X-Men movie, and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man were showing what the franchise could do. Then, the incomparable Ben Affleck dons the red leather suit and sets the bar a little lower than expected.
A favorite of Turk's for many non-Affleck reasons, join him and Acomi as they watch a comic book movie come to life.
Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS!
During recording, the movies are watched at a low volume and with the subtitles on. Viewers may want to turn subtitles on as well to enhance the viewing experience.
