What better way to kickoff Let's Watch season 4, than one of Acomi and Turk182's favorite watches so far this year. Hollywood Warrioress: The Movie. Actress and B-movie queen, Deborah Dutch's, passion project to create and portray a strong, female, hero. Gifted with power by Zeus and the Gods of Olympus, the Hollywood Warrioress fights the demonic forces prey on the youth of Los Angeles and Hollywood.
It would be easy for Acomi and Turk to point out all the movie's short comings, which you expect from a low budget film (estimated at $10k), but it has more to offer. The genuine heart and drive of Deborah Dutch carries the movie through the bad script, acting, directing, camera work, special effects... everything they look for in a Let's Watch! Best of all, it's far from being boring.
Crush a cup of wine, snuggle up with your favorite goat, and join Acomi and Turk as they fight evil along side the Hollywood Warrioress.
Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS!
During recording, the movies are watched at a low volume and with the subtitles on. Viewers may want to turn subtitles on as well to enhance the viewing experience.
So, cue up the audio, ready the movie, and hit play when we say so.
