Acomi and Turk182 happen upon one the greatest hidden gems of 80s action, Never Too Young To Die starring a young John Stamos, Vanity, and KISS front man Gene Simmons.
Stamos plays college student and gymnast, Lance Stargrove, who finds himself pulled into a world of espionage after learning his recently deceased father was actually a secret agent. Unbeknownst to him, or the agency, is the person that killed agent Stargrove is Ragnar, a rock star, the sinister leader of a biker gang, and also a double agent. Ragnar, played by Gene Simmons, his hiding more than just his identity from the agency. Now, with the help of his father's friend Danja, played by Vanity, Lance has to find the missing disc and stop Ragnar's plan to flood California with toxic waste.
This movie is young 80s action at its finest! More crazy than 2 bags of cats!
Note: During recording, Acomi and Turk often refer to John Stamos as "Uncle Joey" from the TV series Full House. Stamos' character was actually Uncle Jessie. But, since neither of them ever watched Full House, they didn't know or care.
Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS!
