Acomi and Turk182 slap on the face paint, slip into their camouflage gear, and rendevous to watch Robowar. Not an homage, or an interpretation. This is a blatant ripoff of the 1987 sci-fi, action classic Predator. With just enough changed to say it's a different movie, there's no mistaking the beat-by-beat plot, and almost identical dialogue, "If it bleeds, we can destroy it.".
Led by Reb Brown, who played Captain America in the 1979 made for TV movie, this flea market Predator is more head scratching than it is fun. Without Acomi and Turk, that is!
Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS!
During recording, the movies are watched at a low volume and with the subtitles on. Viewers may want to turn subtitles on as well to enhance the viewing experience.
So, cue up the audio, ready the movie, and hit play when we say so.
