Acomi and Turk182 finally - after years of talking about it - finally watch the 1995 horror thriller The Fear. A college student majoring in psychology takes his friends and family to a remote cabin to take art in his thesis on fear. The family cabin is not only holds secrets to the past, but is also the home of a life-size, hand-carved, wooden mannequin named Morty. As fears are exposed and truths are brought to light, Morty comes to life and punishes people for their misdeeds.
Low on budget, acting, and story, The Fear (1995) fails at being a horror movie, but succeeds with the creepy and detailed Morty suit. Clichéd, with lot twists you could see coming during the opening credits, The Fear is slow with a pocket change payoff.
So, join Acomi and Turk as their bury their fears and keep spinning lies so Morty won't come after them, as they watch The Fear (1995). And, let's not forget the special appearance by Wes Craven.
Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS!
