Acomi and Turk182 talk about Penguin Publishing's censorship edits of Roald Dahl children's [redacted] books. The editors in children's publishing imprint of Penguin decided to edit words from the classic children's tales that [redacted] described characters, either good or bad, in [redacted] negative ways. To combat shaming and bullying, and be more accepting and inclusive, words such as "hag", [redacted], [redacted], "fat", "smelly", [redacted], "bloated", etc. were removed or changed.
Penguin stated that they would still print and sell the original versions of the books, in addition to the newly edited copies. They didn't say how the versions would be labeled to identify which was which.
Acomi and Turk rage about how the censorship doesn't sit well with them, and the slippery slope it creates. Listen and [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] with [redacted] [redacted] a ball point pen and [redacted] [redacted] in your ass for fun. Enjoy!
