Trying to follow in the footsteps of his mentor, and the only person he considers a true peer, Alexander of Macedonia, Adrian Veidt sets out to unify the world. But, it's not enough to be like his mentor, Veidt wants to be better than him. Acomi and Turk talk about the role of a mentor, and how Veidt loses sight of it. How his need to be validated underlines each of his accomplishments. And, they ask why would a man who has less of a connection with people and humanity that Dr. Manhattan go through so much to save them?
