Acomi and Turk182 grab their weapons and fighting gear for a watch of Mortal Kombat (2021). Not a remake, or reinterpretation, of the 1995 film by Paul W.S. (I make bad video game movies) Anderson, but a refresh of the franchise from the source material. Toasty!
The new Mortal Kombat film explores the origins of the main characters of Scorpion and Sub Zero, and their centuries long war. The movie also brings in new characters, some never shown on the big screen, and creates a new mythology for those chosen to compete in the war across worlds.
