Acomi and Turk182 paint their noses with eyeliner, get their furry suits out of the dryer cleaners, and set the Roomba to hairballs as they watch the animated classic? Rock & Rule (1983). A movie viewing decades in the waiting, destroyed in 90 minutes. Incredible talent, with the likes of Deborah Harry, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, and Robin Zander of Cheap Trick. Beautiful background plates, and an intriguing premise. Potential unnecessarily squander by a weak and meandering script, poor animation transitions, and a lack of understanding what kind of movie they wanted to make.
Rock & Rule looks like a Heavy Metal wannabe animated by Don Bluth's clone.
