This is the 3rd Sunday of Epiphany and the Good Word comes from Jonah 3 1-10. Sometimes we read scripture is a monotone voice, stories just droning on and on. But Jonah was actually written as a comedy! And as with most comedy, there are pieces of valueable truth among the jokes and caricatures.
