This is Palm/Passion Sunday, which is March 24th, 2024. During Immanuel’s Sunday worship service, we read aloud the Palm and passion story from the Gospel of Mark, starting at the beginning of chapter 11. The story follows Jesus through his triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the last supper, his betrayal, trial, crucifixion and death. It’s a powerful story, so powerful that we let it speak for itself this week and there was no sermon.
