Welcome to this bonus episode as we talk about Mental Health Awareness month, which takes place during the month of May.
Mental Health Awareness Month has been recognized in the United States since 1949. It was originally designated as such by the national advocacy organization Mental Health America. Annually during the month of May, organizations, groups, and individuals run campaigns that are designated to raise awareness and educate about mental health.
We all have mental health. Join us as we talk about the importance of staying in tune with your body and mind, being your own advocate or finding someone to help you advocate for yourself. How we can help others struggling with their mental health. Seeking help and support can be difficult, but can be so powerful and healing. Being vulnerable can often be the step we need to take in getting the help and support we need. It's okay to talk about it!
