Whether we like it or not, the same way a sailor has no control over the existence of a storm is the same way we have no control over what storm we will face in life.
So a believer can go through stormy seasons. But because all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose, what may seem to be negative to men is only a path to glory as far as God's agenda is concerned. Even though we have no control over the coming of the storm, we have control over our experience or outcome. We can silence storms. And a critical part to silencing storms is our declaration and confessions.
