Praise is an expression or declaration who God is and what God has done. In the original greek word, praise means to sing, to tell of, to give, or to confess. So when we talk about praising God to trigger his glory, it is about the singing of, telling of, and confessing who God is and what he has done. Praise is so important to the glory of God, so much so that when God decided to reveal His glory to Moses, God was praising himself. Praise creates a conducive environment for the glory of God to find expression.
