As always there are some beautiful things out there to see. The rice paddies serve up excellent scenery throughout most of the year. It's also another popular season here in Hokkaido, festival season! I'm happy I went downtown to check out the Yosakoi Dance Festival. That is quite the spectacle. Another spectacle I never expected I'd come across was the giant flying octopus up near the Ishikari lighthouse the other day. Right, hope you enjoy episode #42!
