Description

Raneisha is a 31-year-old mom, wife, and freelance PR & communications professional currently based in San Diego, California. Raneisha was diagnosed with BPD in 2021 and has since dedicated much of her time to sharing her lived experience as a Black woman with BPD on her "Surviving and Thriving Pod" in addition to supporting health and social justice nonprofits like California Black Women's Health Project. She hopes to build and support community healing spaces for marginalized folks.


Raneisha joined the podcast for BIPOC/ Minority Mental Health Awareness Month to discuss mental health stigma in BIPOC communities, lack of access to culturally competent care in BIPOC communities, and the importance of centering the experiences of BIPOC individuals.
