Every year, on August 31st, we pause to remember the live and ministry of our parish patron, St. Aidan of Lindisfarne.
This year, we have the opportunity to hear a sermon written in Irish from the middle of the 7th century, only a few short years after the death of St. Aidan.
This homily, called "The Cambrai Fragment", is incomplete, but it gives us a wonderful insight into the worship and discipleship of the Celtic saints. So join us, as Fr. Lee share a brief devotional concluding with this beautiful ancient Irish sermon.

The cover image for this episode is one of the symbolic images of the four Gospel writers (tetramorph) from the Book of Kells (c. 800). In the Book of Kells, Matthew is represented by a winged man, as his Gospel begins with the genealogy of Jesus.
