The Apocalypse Revisited series is a collection of several different discussions at St. Aidan's on the topic of the Book of Revelation. This book, like no other book in Scripture, has stirred up vocal and diverse reactions across our culture.
In this series, we're trying to clear away our own assumptions and pop-culture images of the book, and learn how to read St. John's Revelation carefully and well.
In this episode, we we're talking about the Rapture - is it "clearly" and "plainly" Biblical? Where did the idea originate? And how does the idea of the Rapture affect the rest of our beliefs and interactions?
