In September 2021, Nicki fled. a domestic abusive relationship with her dangerous ex boyfriend to restart her life again.
She went on to turn her hobby of interior design and decluttering/reorganising into a brand “The Essex House Dolly”.
Nearly 2 years on, she is now recognised as a cleaning influencer and professional declutter & reorganiser and has appeared in numerous glossy mags and papers as well as appearing in FORBES. She is also appearing as a Speaker at the London Excel on 14/15 October 2023 at The Clean & Tidy Home Show.
She empowers women to see that they do not need a man to do things around the home and in June I did a 60 mile walk throughout the month to raise money for a Women's Refuge.
