In today’s episode we return to the subject of nutrition and hone in on one of the most hyped of the macronutrients; protein! It is undeniable that protein has never been more popular, while carbs and fats are still widely demonised. Lured by its multifaceted benefits including appetite regulation and weight loss, muscle growth and muscle mass preservation, most of us know we should be prioritising it in our diet. However, with the hype comes the avalanche of conflicting messages of how much we should be consuming and what food sources are best. For many, it has become just another nutrition headache and something else we feel we’re “getting wrong”. But we’re here to reassure you it needn’t be that complex!
