Livingroom's mission statement has been the same ever since its members met as freshmen in high school: to create original music emphasizing quality songwriting. Founded in 2018 in the suburbs of Chicago, the band got their start playing events and small venues in their hometown. After releasing their debut EP Honeybee in December of 2020, the band solidified their sound with the writing of their full-length album Don't Shoot the Messenger! Released in September of 2021. Their synthesis of musical genres lends itself to a uniquely catchy sound the band coined "grape pop." Looking to the future, Livingroom has returned to writing, working on their next project. This summer, they will tour the Chicago Metropolitan Area (shows will be posted on their Spotify and Instagram, @livingroom_band).
