Declan Kensington is in need of some peace and quiet to get over his writer’s block, and he’s hoping to find it by spending the holidays alone at his family’s lakeside cabin in the small town of Maplewood, Vermont. However, peace isn’t exactly what he gets when mysterious, threatening notes start appearing and a killer strikes, casting Declan as a possible suspect. It’ll be up to him and Public Safety Commissioner Curtis Monroe to figure out just what’s going on, hopefully before Declan ends up spending his holidays in jail.
