Tonight we will lay the foundation for the next few weeks as we have a closer look at the tabernacle and the things within it. Far more than just a place to worship God - it is, as Hebrews records, an “example and shadow of heavenly things”. It has great meaning past the flannel graph studies we are used to, and offers an almost unparalleled view of the Messiah, and of us as humans. While the Temple was a real place where the children of Israel worshipped YHVH, the designs and type, the similitudes as the King James calls them, are messages to us thousands of years later about the nature of Y’shua, YHVH, and us.
