Today we begin looking at the book of Yo-el’ or Joel (remember there is no “J” in Hebrew). Yo-el’ is the prophet who first mentioned "Yom YHVY” often translated as the "Day of the Lord". He mentions it five times in his little 3 chapter 73 verse book and Kepha (Peter) picks up on it in his message on Shavuot. We will look at why Kepha felt he needed to include "that day" in his Shavuot messge to the faithful
