“I think like contribution is probably one of my strongest values that I try to live by now and incorporate. It's kind of self-explanatory with the Hope Manifesto, what I'm trying to do there. I'm always curious as to how I've impacted other people, but I think that's also a part of life that you're not supposed to have all those answers. And need to sit in the unknown, and it kind of forces you as like, why am I doing this? Am I doing it for the accolades and for the validation? Or am I doing this because, no, I think this is what the right thing is to do regardless. And it's exactly like what you were talking about.
When you get to that point of just doing things because it's the right thing. And like I, I used to try and picture that. I try to ask myself “Could be a dear friend, that they turn around, never speak to me again for whatever reason, would I still be okay that I've done this?”
And it's like, if I wasn't, well…”
