“I think the inspiration is kind of what I was just explaining before, that feeling of creating something that causes a reaction in me, an emotional response. It's chasing that feeling. And yeah, that's like what I think for any people who really love music, they'll have favourite bands and favourite songs and favourite albums, like of course you love the songs cuz they're catchy and because the lyrics are cool and it's a sweet guitar solo, whatever.
But it's really about how it makes you feel and what it makes you remember when you hear it, like you hear a specific song and it takes you back to a place and you might hear a song and it reminds you of when you're a kid, whatever, playing in the backyard. And then I might hear that same song and it reminds me of something completely different.
I suppose it's that that inspires me. I want to be able to create that for people, for myself. And like also just making music's fun.”
