Description

“I learned concept called a trade off. And it's this acknowledgement that when you choose one thing, you are leaving another thing behind. Often in life we're faced with trade offs all the time, all day long, you can drive yourself crazy obsessing over trade offs. But at the end of the day, you've got to ‘decide’; the Latin root meaning to ‘cut away’.

You've got to choose the life that you want to live and take the path that represents the best trade off for you. It's difficult. I struggle with it myself; wanting to evolve my situation to the next level. It's a constant struggle every single day and waking up and having a routine is certainly helpful. I know it's something that I can do to better incorporate more of the things that I know will get me to the next level. And I know exactly what it is and intuitively I have ideas in my head and I'm sure you do too.

And anyone listening knows the experience of having these ideas in your head is like, ‘Oh, I should probably do that in the morning. I should wake up and meditate. I should journal. I should write that book I have in my mind’. But then carving out the space and time is tough.

I empathise with anyone on the struggle on the creative path. And I have infinite respect for anyone actually putting it together and sharing what they have with the world in a courageous way, finding the will to carve out that trade off to create and share with the community to try and improve the world.”
