“I realised how important it was to connect with people. Number one, physically in person and how important a genuine, authentic connection is to me, rather than just having lots of acquaintances.
Cause with yachting and everything, I met so many awesome people all around the world, but it was kind of - it felt very surface level. Like that was something I really struggled with working on yachts, cause you're always just seeing people for a fleeting moment, because your yacht's going and then someone else is on another charter and then they're just getting back and you're always just like, quickly like ‘Ships in the Night’, quite literally.
But that connection piece became really, really important. I wanted to connect with people and be like really good friends and have more than superficial conversations. So finding Feel Good Dips was just amazing and really instrumental in that. And that's where I kind of had another light bulb moment where I was like, connection is important to me, the cooking class is important to me. Why don't I combine the two and create conscious connection dinners.”
