Subtle Rebel is a brand that allows two things to be true at the same time. You can be a leader, but be quiet. You can be kind, but stand up for yourself. You can be strong, but you can be vulnerable. In a world where everyone is trying to put us in a box and make us choose between two options, Subtle Rebel provides a space for us to acknowledge there are more than two options. In this episode, Carley shares her creative roots and how this brand came to be. This brand is built on the insecurities and insults from characters in Carley’s life. And I think that is what makes Subtle Rebel so special. Carley took inspiration from times people put her down and tried to put her in a box to make themselves feel more comfortable.
