On this episode I chat with Charlie Davis and Katie Morgan, the founders of Right Bee Cider. The first cidery in Chicago.
I talk about Charlie starting his career in craft beer and how a gesture of making cider for his eventual wife would set set a path of opening a business. We chat about the journey of starting from the ground up as a two person business to eventually opening a production facility and taproom. I pick Katie’s brain on her mission to educate the consumer on the world of cider, and their move to selling internationally…finding a connection in Japan. Finally we chat about the importance of ingredients in cider making, and what is planned for the future of Right Bee Cider.
