Before establishing his own firm, Ferd practiced law at a top Kansas City firm, specializing in economic development incentives, public finance, property tax assessments, and land use and zoning. He also contributed as the associate editor for Missouri's leading treatises on land use and economic development law.
With a background in finance and an MBA from Rockhurst University, Ferd’s analytical skills were further sharpened during his time at Jackson County, where he held various roles in administration, economic development, and assessment. As the Director of Assessment, Ferd gained deep insights into property valuation and tax appeals, which he leverages today in his real estate ventures.
