Description

In this episode, Amy talks about her hat as a marketing mentor. What led her to this career path was the recognition that entrepreneurs were spreading themselves too thin when it came to marketing. She understood if people used their strengths when marketing their business and left the other responsibilities to others, they were more productive and fulfilled.

She explains there are 5 content personality types: live/in-person, audio, written, video, and visual. When people determine their personality type, they can let go of or delegate marketing in other forms leveraging what their natural strength is. She stresses the importance of not over-extending yourself with multiple media platforms if it doesn't align with you. She says, "more is never better."

Amy also addresses the need to decompress in whatever way feels aligned. For her, it's being out on the water on her pontoon. Her business partner has written a book called Practical Joy where, in chapter 2, you can learn to determine your 3-5 lifestyle values and determine what is a priority to you.
