Description

Trigger warning: In this episode Jill, an entrepreneur with four businesses and the author of "Liberated," discusses what her life became as a result of being sexually molested at the age of 4 and how she found her way to living an amazing life.

At the ages of 7-12 she began acting out sexually and at the age of 12 she recalls feeling like a molester and pedophile after one specific incident. The shame that ensued led to the development of an eating disorder when she was in high school. It wasn't until the age of 33 that she reached out for help and began the road to recovery and healing.

Now, her passion is to normalize the conversation around sexual abuse. She wants to help other survivors realize the power behind speaking their truth and the gift behind the trauma. She says she is grateful for what happened to her because it has led her to where she is now, able to help others know they are not alone. Her purpose is to help others see how they can manifest everything they desire once healing has occurred.

The words she imparts at the end of the episode are "life happens outside your comfort zone." She wants survivors to face the shame and fear that resulted from what happened to them head-on as there is tremendous freedom and bliss on the other side of the fear.
