In this episode, Karen discusses being a mom of 4 children that she homeschooled, an artist, art teacher, author, and coach. As an educator at the collegiate level, she found there were no art books that adequately grabbed the attention of her students so she wrote one! Her life's passion has been to help others tap into the right side of their brain; their creative side. She feels if the right side is nurtured the way it needs to be, the left and right side will work together in a magical way. Along with being an art mentor to many, she also works as a coach to women, in their later years of life, in order to help them reach their goals, embrace now, and know life can be amazing as an empty nester.
