Description

In this episode, Meghan discusses her work as a neurodivergent specialist. After years of working in the education system in various leadership roles in special education, SEL, climate and culture, and in the gifted program, and after her two children identified as gifted, she realized that she too was neurodivergent and that her needs were not being met as an educator. She stepped away from the school system and started her own business working with parents and organizations to help students graduating from high school transition into jobs where they can thrive.

She shared the importance of how learning to set clear boundaries as an educator helped her navigate the collision of her entrepreneur hat and mom/partner hats. She recognized, early on, the need for boundaries with her business in order to give every part of her life the attention it needed. This has helped her manage the different responsibilities she has with more ease.
