Description

This week we are sitting down with Sarah-Beth, a mental health Occupational Therapist (OT)!

Before meeting Sarah-Beth, I had only heard of an OT in relation to paediatrics- I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a mental health OT!

Sarah-Beth talks to us about what a mental health OT does and how she supports clients and caters to their individual needs.

She also touches on sensory modulation, sensory profiles and their 4 quadrants, neurological thresholds, and how she can support clients through times where our sensory buckets have overflowed.

This was such an interesting episode, and how great to have discovered a new avenue of support for Mum’s mental health!
