Description

Oh my goodness. This is an episode filled with SO much greatness. We cover so much in 40 minutes from Christmas to living in a place of love, gratitude and grace to looking at the big picture of life instead of getting lost in the nuts and bolts and so much more. Phil talks about the birth of Jesus and includes a twist on the story that really blew my mind.

My biggest takeaway:  "On basically the darkest day of the year we celebrate that the light came."

Phil Stout is a preacher, teacher and writer. After serving for more than thirty years as a pastor, Phil is an adjunct professor teaching leadership and social justice. He also ministers to patients in hospice care and is a bereavement counselor.

Phil views his faith as a journey, and says he’s always in “discovery mode, trying to learn all I can about what it means to follow Christ and to be an agent of His grace.”

Phil and Carol have been married for forty-one years. They are the proud parents of three awesome kids, two fantastic kids-in-law and some amazing grandchildren.
