This week Lucas, Kaleb, Angie, Alyssa and Amaya discuss their takeaways from Compass Worship. We were back in the book of Acts again looking at the life of Stephen from chapters 6-7. From these chapters we saw that Stephen was a man "full of faith, the Holy Spirit, God's grace and power and that he was committed to the principles of the church to; Love God, Love people and Proclaim Jesus. We were also able to see characteristics of his life that revealed his commitment to moving the gospel forward. We saw he was willing to serve others, even if not the most glamorous job. He stood firm on Truth, unwaivering from it no matter what. He was willing to risk everything to proclaim Christ, and even as he was being falsely accused and ultimately killed, he was offering forgiveness and grace just as he had seen Jesus do on the cross before his last breath.
