This week Ian, Nolan, Owen, Jamie, Sam, Jeb, and Jace discuss their takeaways from Compass Worship. We wrapped up our journey through the first 9 chapters of the book of Acts. In our time in Acts we have seen how God designed the church to be a movement. How the church was never intended to be about a building or one set location rather it was a group of people committed to Loving God, Loving People and proclaiming Jesus as they went. This week we focused our time on Acts 9 and the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, a destroyer, a terrorist of the movement of the Gospel. We see who Saul once was as he walked in the darkness of what he believed to be true and what happens when Jesus lights up his life and redeems him so that he can be used to proclaim the gospel not persecute those who do. Through Saul's life we are reminded not only that we are never to far from God's love and redemption but also the same grace that was sufficient for us is sufficient for all who call on the name of Jesus.
Our hope and prayer is that through the Beyond the Building podcast you would continue the conversation of God's Word in your home, on your campus, in your workplace and neighborhood so His gospel can be shared with all.For more details on Compass Ministries visit our website at www.compassjn146.org or follow us on Facebook or Instagram @compassjn146.
