This week Ian, Kayce, Braylee and Jeff discuss their takeaways from Compass Worship. The first seven chapters of Acts we have seen the movement of the gospel move primarily through Jerusalem, now in chapter 8 we see the "church leave the building." We looked at Philip's ministry in Samaria, the joy that the response the gospel can bring to a city. We also looked at the truth that the posture of our heart is more important than the spiritual boxes we check. We closed out our time by looking at the obedience of Philip, and the humble surrender of the Ethiopian eunuch .From all of this we were reminded that we are called to scatter and proclaim the gospel wherever God leads us and we are to have humble surrendered hearts that desire only to build His Kingdom.
