This week Nick and Randy get themselves lost in the Connemara Forest in Ireland in an attempt to cover The Watchers. This 2022 debut novel by A.M. Shine was adapted this year (2024) by Ishana Night Shyamalan daughter of M. Night Shyamalan.
They start the episode by discussing their experiences with the book before delving into the adaptation released by Warner Bros. They discuss their high level thoughts on what the movie did well and did not do well before they close out as always by diving deeper into their thoughts scoring the adaptation on casting, plot, world-building, soundtrack, and legacy.
