Everyone who who embraces the AUM of Life and surrenders to their destiny will face all manner of opposition, obstacles, and resistance. We all face challenges on The Path, but here we are referring specifically to those people and circumstances which seem diametrically opposed to our mission in life. It can be very frustrating to have to face those which seem hell-bent on sabotaging our progress, or even tempting us to abandon the path altogether for 'something more practical.' That particular brand of resistance often comes from family members, and worse. Then there is the outright toxicity, cruelty, even physical violence we may have to endure at the hands of a partner. The path of the spiritual warrior is never easy. But face our adversaries we must if we hope to vanquish all opposition and triumph on the path. But we cannot afford to be naïve. The obstacles we face and the people set against us are not pushovers. And at times we will find ourselves surrounded by them, our whole world seemingly closing in around us as we witness ourselves at their mercy, even as we cry havoc and proclaim ourselves to be swords of righteousness who shall unleash the wrath of God upon them.
