In Part 29 of our series Good News: The Life of Christ in the Gospel of Mark, Pastor Caleb looks at Jesus' provocative encounter with a man often referred to as the "rich young ruler." When we consider what we have in common with this man, the passage becomes both tragedy and warning: Those who are unwilling to be empty-handed will walk away from Jesus empty-hearted. Thankfully, Jesus sees and loves us and offers another way, one costly but eternally rewarding.
