Michael Porciello grew up in suburban New York, throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Horror and Slasher films occupied the drive-in, movie theater screens and video store shelves.
The nightmares and imagination of the youth weren’t far from the real horrors of the world. Just around the corner there were echoes of exactly what was happening (on the screen) within in the safety of the movie house.
My new episode (premiering tonight at 8:00pm ET) is a nostalgic trip, back to a time and place that seemed to not only mimic the fictional horrors that we grew-up with, but in reality were infinitely more terrifying.
