Give us this day our daily bread. Our God wants us to ask Him to meet our needs, not because He does not know what they are; He knows long before we ask.
He knows, but in all likelihood, we don’t. Therefore, He insists that we ask.
It will exercise our faith; it will make us dependent; and it will multiply His glory.
Every day we must come before Him and ask.
