Description

In this episode, I chat with Karen Shirlow, known as the Neurosculptor. Karen is a trauma-informed somatic coach and emotional release facilitator who helps people reconnect with their hearts to live a life of peace, truth, passion, purpose, and integrity.

Karen shares her journey from a childhood where her natural gifts of intuition and imagination were misunderstood, to finding herself at 36 leaving a 16-year marriage and a business partnership and the self-healing that needed to take place for her to move on. She opens up about the challenges of stepping away from societal expectations and the transformative power of embracing her true self.

We discuss the dynamics of having a high-achieving sibling, the importance of sitting with darker emotions to reclaim power, and how urgency can narrow our focus.

Karen explains how learning Havening Techniques and other healing modalities like NLP, brainwork recursive therapy, polyvagal theory, and neo-emotional release helped her release past triggers and emotions.

Karen also demonstrates the three basic Havening techniques, talks about the benefits of morning dance routines, and shares tips on creating a list of resources for regulation. She highlights the importance of listening to the body and intuition and shares a touching story about using her pride for her daughter to heal her inner child.

Join us for an inspiring conversation about heart-centred healing and the journey to rediscovering your true self.
